President and Founder, Donell B. Harmon-Parker is not one to sit and wait for things to happen. As a human resources, corporate operations leader and entrepreneur she has demonstrated a unique knack for uncovering opportunities and charting often untraditional paths to success.

Donell’s most rewarding role came with the birth of her daughter, firm namesake Aminah. Shortly after Aminah was born, the single mom made a life-changing decision to return to the field where she’d made the greatest impact for individuals and organizations. With the launch of AMINAH Consulting, Donell set out to offer job seekers and employers an enhanced level of service. She has cultivated a unique brand built on her commitment to not just matching qualifications to open positions, but sharing honest, experienced insight – taking the time to understand an individual’s aspirations and a business’ core strategies. Through that commitment, she has developed lasting relationships, becoming a trusted ally and extension to her clients’ networks.

Donell’s inspiration reaches beyond recruiting. She often speaks about entrepreneurship, leadership, personal and career transformation, work/life imbalance and economic development. She is involved in various philanthropic ventures that affect youth, women, poverty and education including being instrumental in establishing The Judith E. B. Harmon Scholarship Fund in her late mother’s name which assists students pursing a degree in African American Studies at Lake Forest College. She currently resides in metro Atlanta with her husband COL Fredrick Parker and their children Quinton (29), Isaiah (21) Aminah (13) and Breana (6).
